Actors Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan are now formally divorced. The divorce has finally been granted by a family court in Bandra, Mumbai. Both have shared great times together and had been a happy couple for almost 17 years before they parted their ways with mutual consent.
Both actors declared their separation early this year and applied for divorce by mutual consent. As the law states, six months of counselling sessions are necessary to decide if the couple wants to reunite before the court grants a divorce.
Rumours suggest that it was Malaika who opted for divorce and the reason behind their divorce could have been the unsuccessful career of her husband, Arbaaz. He has always lived under the protected shadow of his successful brother – Salman Khan.
The reports also suggest that Malaika always felt an “outsider” in the Khan family.She is also believed to had problems with Salman Khan. Salman never approved of her fashion, choices, her friends, and almost everything.
BOTH the actors have chosen to keep silence since the news of their divorce broke out in public. They haven’t revealed anything about the possible reason that could have affected their marriage.
However, they were seen attending Justin Bieber concert together in Mumbai with their kid, a day before their divorce.
