Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, after months of speculations and rumours finally tied the knot outside the country in Italy. They got married in a traditional way with only the closed ones attending the marriage.
Virat Kohli, an Indian cricketer, married Bollywood star and longtime girlfriend – Anushka Sharma outside the country in Italy on Monday.
The duo announced the news on their respective social media handles and captioned, “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well-wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.”
The official representatives of the couple later revealed the details of the wedding and also the upcoming plans surrounding the Indian captain and the Bollywood beauty.
The couple will travel to South Africa where Virat Kohli will start his preparations for the upcoming series while Anushka will spend the new year with him and then return to Mumbai in the first week of January to kick-start her new project of Anand L Rai’s film beside Shah Rukh Khan.
She will also begin preparations for Sui Dhaaga whose shooting is to start from February 2018, Anushka will also be occupied with the promotions of Pari which is about to release on 9th February.
After taking the wedding promisesThe newly married couple will throw a reception for friends and relatives in Virat’s hometown, New Delhi on December 21.
Later, Bollywood, corporate and cricketing world will be hosted on December 26.
Virat and Anushka began dating in 2013 following their meeting during the shoot of a shampoo ad. The much-in-love couple made their first public appearance together a year later during a soccer match.
