Sanjay Dutt marks his comeback with the Omung Kumar directorial Bhoomi, but sadly, the film did not manage to impress the audience much. The Sanjay Dutt & Aditi Rao Hydari starrer movie was expected to get a bumper opening but unfortunately, it wasn’t able to satisfy the crave of the audience.
Bhoomi is based on a father-daughter relation and fans were excited to watch it. Since 3 movies have simultaneously clashed at the Box Office, the numbers have been low for all. On the other hand, we have Newton which started off very low but got good growth on the 2nd day i.e. Saturday.
Let us check how much both the films managed to earn!

Bhoomi didn’t demonstrate any sustainable growth as such. From 2.25 crores on the first day, the collections climbed to 2.47 crores only. No difference at all. It was thought that the movie will show a rise at least on Saturday, however, all expectations were destroyed.
Day 1 – 2.25 crores
Day 2 – 2.47 crores
Total – 4.72 crores
Newton saw an amazing hike in collections on the day 2. Opposed to 96 lakhs on the first day, it earned mammoth 2.52 crores on the 2nd day. It’s 162 percent growth in the collection for the film. Looks like people are appreciating Rajkumar Rao’s socio-political drama. However, it will be important to see whether the film grows on Sunday or not.
Day 1 – 96 lakhs
Day 2 – 2.52 crores
Total – 3.48 crores
