It is always interesting to see who tops the list of the Highest Advance Tax Payers and here it is. It is to be noted that the calculations are done based on the amount paid by the celebs till 15th March 2017. Basically, advance tax is 33 percent of the total income which is earned in the financial year. Can you guess who pays the highest advance tax in Bollywood? Well, it is Salman Khan, who has overthrown Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Akshay Kumar, to pay the highest advance tax for the year 2016-2017.
Salman paid a total of Rs 44.5 crores as advance tax in the year 2016-2017 as contrary to Rs 32.2 crores last year i.e. in 2015-2016, thereby showing a 39 percent growth.
Akshay Kumar takes the second place by paying an advance tax of Rs 29.5 crore compared to Rs. 30 crores in the last fiscal year followed by Hrithik Roshan who has paid 25.5 crores compared to Rs 14 crore in last year.
While, actor-comedian Kapil Sharma stands on the 4th spot, who is earning really good because of his comedy show “The Kapil Sharma Show”; in the last financial year, he paid Rs 7 crores as advance tax, but this year, he paid Rs 23.9 crores which is an excellent growth!Talking about the female actors, Actress Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor tops the list of highest advance taxpayers in B-town.
